Condition

Here’s a solid Canadian pressing of BTO’s fifth studio album, representing the band during a fascinating transitional period. “Freeways” came at a time when the group was evolving beyond their earlier hard-driving sound, incorporating more polished production while still maintaining those signature Randy Bachman guitar riffs that made them arena rock darlings. This Mercury Canada pressing captures the album during BTO’s commercial peak years, though it’s often overlooked in favor of their earlier classics like “Not Fragile” or “Four Wheel Drive.”
