Boom Chicka Boom: Vinyl LP

Released in February 1990, Boom Chicka Boom is Johnny Cashs 76th album, and his fifth on Mercury Records. The title refers to the sound that Cashs backing band, the Tennessee Three, were said to produce.

It includes a cover of Harry Chapins Cats in the Cradle, and a song written by Elvis Costello specifically for Cash, Hidden Shame. The album reached No. 48 on the country charts. The album has backing vocals by Elvis Presleys old backing group, The Jordanaires.

Featuring remastered audio for the very first time, using the original Mercury master tapes, the LP reissue is pressed on 180g vinyl for the highest quality audio fidelity and accompanied by a MP3 download voucher.
