Perhapst is drummer John Moen (DECEMBERISTS, STEPHEN MALKMUS & THE JICKS, ELLIOTT SMITH), who now stretches out a bit with his own album of gorgeously crafted pop-rock tunes, “Revise Your Maps”. The 12 songs herein are imbued with sweetness, sass & melancholy, reminiscent of “Notorious Byrd Brothers”-era Byrds & the shuffling boogie of Squeeze. Songs call out to a bonnie-haired beloved, broadcast.
