Limited to 200 Hand-Numbered Units Worldwide!

From static to symphony, Exile sculpts radiowaves into a sonic masterclass. More than justan instrumental album, Radio is a concept-driven exploration of media, meaning, and memory. Originally released on February 24, 2009, this marks the first-ever vinyl reissue, arriving nearly 17 years later as a definitive return to one of Exiles most celebrated statements.

Built from snippets of live AM and FM broadcasts, Exile turns the dial into a living archive, flipping talk radio, call-ins, and late-night paranoia into the albums backbone. The voices shape the mood, shifting between humor, dread, and hope as the sequencing moves like a scan across stations. Anchored by Exiles signature drum swing and soulful chops, each track lands fully formed, with transitions and recurring motifs that keep the world of Radio dialed in.

Remastered for this vinyl reissue,Radio deliversa noticeable upgrade in definition and balance, allowing the details in Exiles sample work tocome through with more precision.
The tracklist is also expanded with bonusmaterial drawn from Exiles 2010 companionproject, AM/FM, a creative reinterpretation that paired guest vocalfeatures over Radios instrumentals. Highlights include Love Linefeaturing Blu, remixes by Knxwledge and Samiyam, and the vocalversion of Its Coming Down featuring The Alchemist andEvidence.

With this deluxe vinyl pressing, Coalmine Reissues presents a thoughtfully curated tribute to a modern producer classic.

Critical Praise:
Exile showcases the breadth and depth of his production styles, crafting beats that evoke the straightforward jazziness of Below theHeavens or fiction as a tribute to the last J Dilla, with the hallmarksirens and clipped production style. -Albumism
Exile long ago established himself as one of the better undergroundhip-hop producers, but Radio establishes him as a viable andtalented solo artist, as well. -AllMusic
