You Can Be (LP)

Long thought lost to time, this unreleased disco-funk gem by the Music Makers Band was discovered tucked away in a Macon, Georgia linen closetits reel-to-reel tapes untouched since 1979. Recorded at the legendary Capricorn Studios, You Can Be captures the band at a pivotal moment as they evolved from their earlier identity as The Mighty Chevelles, known for the cult favorite Black Gold.

Now officially issued for the first time as part of the Now-Again Reserve series, You Can Be delivers tight musicianship, smooth soul, and irresistible grooverestoring a crucial piece of Georgias overlooked funk history.
